Judy’s Grandmother’s Baby Sweater, from Greetings from the Knit Cafe, on KnitPicks Shine Sport in Orchid, 3.75mm needles. The honeycomb stitch looks pretty sleek and all in all this is a darned cute little sweater. Hopefully the (98th percentile in height, so her parents report) recipient’ll get a few months wear out of it.
Icarus and I have mended fences. Glenna has brokered a peace treaty which allows me to knit one more repeat of Chart 1 before starting the feathers. The shawl is cooperating and only spat out one mistake at me. I’ve decided that these
many mistakes I’m collecting along the way will be left in because the only way I’d go back and fix them would involved a locked padded room to spite it.
